摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit capable of easily controlling one or plural function circuit blocks which have a prescribed function and suppressing leakage current. SOLUTION: When a prescribed signal is inputted to a control signal input terminal 11 in the case of operating only a function circuit block 1, a control circuit 7 outputs a 'Low' signal from an output terminal 5 and a 'Hi' signal from an output terminal 6. These signals are inputted to respective gates, a PchFET 3 is turned on, a PchFET 4 is turned off, the function circuit block is turned into active state and a function circuit block 2 is turned into standby state. At this time, the leakage current of the function circuit block 2 becomes a small value by the cutoff characteristics of the PchFET 4, having a threshold voltage higher than that of each of FET in the function circuit block 2. Also, at least one of FET provided between a power supply terminal and a ground terminal comprising the control circuit 7 is an FET having a high threshold voltage, so that, the leakage current of the control circuit 7 during standby is reduced as well and a low leakage current is attained for the whole semiconductor integrated circuit 8.
