PURPOSE:To perform correct operation of an electromagnetic device, in an electromagnetic fuel controller, by driving a fuel metering valve with an output shaft, providing a fuel leak preventing bellowphragm to the output shaft and preventing fuel pressure from being applied to said bellowphragm. CONSTITUTION:A flange part 42A is provided to a fuel needle valve 42 to form a labyrinth between the flange part and fuel passage wall 32A, simultaneously a fuel sump 60 is provided between an upper part of the flange part 42A and a bellowphragm 50 provided to an output shaft 48A, and this fuel sump 60 is communicated to a fuel tank 38. In this way, fuel pressure is not applied to the bellowphragm 50 to perform correct operation of an electromagnetic device 48. That is, high pressure fuel is fed to the fuel needle valve 42 from a fuel pump 36, and the higher is the fuel pressure the larger labyrinth effext is obtained, then no fuel passes through the fuel needle valve 42 and the fuel passage wall 32A. Accordingly, fuel never intrudes into the fuel sump 60. |
