PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To radiate horizontally polarized waves using a coaxial cylindrical slot array antenna concerning the coaxial cylindrical slot array antenna provided with an inner conductor, equipped with a circular outer surface and an ended cylindrical outer peripheral surface connected with this outer surface and an outer conductor equipped with a disk part and a cylindrical part facing the circular outer surface and outer peripheral surface of the inner conductor through respective dielectrics. SOLUTION: This antenna is provided with plural slots opened at respective positions in the form of matrix formed from the vertical direction and azimuth angle direction of the cylindrical part of an outer conductor 3 and a power- feeding part for feeding power from the respective centers of the disk part of the outer conductor 3 and the circular outer surface of the inner conductor to the outer conductor and the inner conductor, each of plural slots being composed of great parentheses connecting parallel short horizontal slots, which are perpendicular to vertical slots, and turned on the same side to respective upper and lower terminal parts of the vertical slots; and the array of slots is made equal in each of respective plural areas dividing the cylindrical part of the outer conductor 3 in the azimuth angle direction.
