Pharmaceutical preparation for contraception/hormonsubstitution with biogenic estrogen components

Combined prepn. for contraception and hormone replacement containing 3 stages with a total of 28 daily dose units (DDU) comprises: (1) a first stage of 3 or 4 DDU, each contg. at least one biogenic oestrogen (I); (2) a second stage of 20-22 DDU, each contg. at least one (I) and at least one gestagenic component (II); (3) a third stage of 3 or 4 DDU as in (1). (II) is a 21C gestagen, including progesterone, or dienogest (IIa), desogestrel, 3-keto-desogestrel, gestoden, levonorgestrel, norgestimate, norethisterone (or its acetate) or dydrogesterone.
