<p>The depression generator consists of a main duct (2) with an inner conical wall diverging towards an open end (3) and a source of gas under pressure to be injected into the duct to create a depression at the opposite end. The apparatus incorporates a chamber (7) between the pressurized gas source and the main duct, and a peripheral passage (8) between the chamber and main duct, shaped to direct the compressed gas flow towards the open end as it expands. The passage is located between the main duct and a female sleeve (4) covering it.</p> |
