PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove CO (carbon monoxide), while avoiding an occurrence of abrupt reaction in the vicinity of a gas inlet of a CO removing device and a lowering of reactivity in the vicinity of gas outlet, and excellently maintaining efficiency of selective oxidation reaction. SOLUTION: This CO removing device 5 produces reactive gas by mixing air with reformed hydrogen-rich gas containing CO, and removes CO in the reactive gas by catalyst in a reactor. It is composed of a selective oxidation reactor 51 and an air humidifier 56, and air around a fuel cell system is humidified by cooling water A used for a cooling process in a fuel cell 6, and the humidified air is mixed with the reformed gas and introduced into the selective oxidation reactor 51 in order to remove CO. |
