PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly set a resident radio zone adaptively to the position of its own station. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal is provided with a radio interface 11 that forms a radio channel with a radio base station forming a radio zone where its own station is resident, a channel control means 12 that conducts channel control and interlocks with the radio base station forming the radio zone, a peripheral zone monitor 13 that obtains the transmission quality of each peripheral zone including adjacent zones and stores the transmission quality in cross reference with the peripheral zones from which the transmission quality is obtained, a man-machine interface 14 that provides man-machine interface related to the setup of a call in its own station, wherein the channel control means 12 has a means that selects some of peripheral zones whose transmission quality is stored in the peripheral zone monitor means 13 in the descending order of cross-referenced transmission quality and tries transition when a change in its radio zone is requested. |
