PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the driving noise and improve the matching property of sheet position in discharge by collectively discharging a series of a plurality of sheets not after-treated after all the sheets are housed in an intermediate tray when a prescribed after-treatment is not performed for the sheets housed in the intermediate tray. SOLUTION: A finisher A1 is provided with an intermediate tray 6 capable of housing a plurality of sheets, a sheet receiver 7 for supporting one carrying directional end of a sheet, and a discharge roller 9 for discharging the sheet out of the device. When no stapling treatment is performed for the sheets housed in the intermediate tray 6, a series of sheets not treated are carried to the discharge roller 9 by the sheet receiver 7 after all the sheets are housed in the intermediate tray 6, and these sheets are collectively discharged to a discharge tray 10. According to this, the driving noise is reduced, and since the sheets are discharged in a collected bundle state, the matching property of sheet position in the discharge tray 10 can be improved.
