PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a switchgear maintenance-free without using oil or packing by energizing a plurality of pressure pieces provided within a case along the circumferential direction, and forming a taper part between the minor diameter part and major diameter part of a movable bar formed so that a braking force is added in the interruption of an opening and closing part. SOLUTION: A movable bar 56 is moved down in an interrupting state. Although no braking force works in an input state because a minor diameter part 56a is opposed to a buffer body 64 formed of a pressure piece and a spring, a tapered part 56c then extends the inner end part of the pressure piece, and when a major diameter part 56b is opposed to the buffer body 64, a frictional force works between the both to work a braking force. On the other hand, when a vacuum interrupter is inputted, the movable bar 56 is moved upward. A case 63 is moved up together with the movable bar 56 by a playδbetween the case 63 and a lid 61, and the braking force is not worked in the initial stage. Although the braking force is worked to some degree in the middle stage, the speed in the input is not reduced so much since the buffer body 63 is not extended by the taper part 56c.
