<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress discharging of toxic substances in exhaust gas during activating a catalyst, improve fuel consumption performance, and early activate the catalyst. SOLUTION: In this control device, specified time T0 is passed from the starting before activating catalyst (S2 to S4). On that condition, an injection amount during an intake process is calculated so as to equalize an air-fuel ratio for combustion to a specified lean air-fuel ratio (S7). Intake process injection for inner cylinder combustion is performed (S8). At the same time, an injection amount in an exhaust process is computed based on density of oxygen in the exhaust gas (S9). Exhaust process injection for activating catalyst is performed (S10).</p> |
