<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the working effectiveness and prevent poor performance of connector connecting works. SOLUTION: A vertical rotary shaft 12 is installed protrusively on either of the undersurface of a meter unit 10 and the mounting part 20A of an instrument panel 20, while the other is furnished with a bearing 22 in which the rotary shaft 12 is inserted, and the meter unit 10 set in the mounting part 20A is made rotatable in the horizontal direction centering on the rotary shaft 12. Under the meter unit 10, a male connector 13 is installed protrusively in such a way that the terminals face backward, while a female connector 23 with terminals facing ahead is furnished on the rotating locus of the male conector 13 in the mounting part 20A. The male 13 and female connectors 23 are arranged as put in perfect fitting with each other when the meter unit 10 is rotated to the mounting position.</p> |
