MULTILAYER-COATED COMMERCIAL GOODS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commercial goods coated with air inexpensive and easily avoidable base material, and capable of providing a colorful bright effect applicable to other goods. SOLUTION: The goods are coated with multilayers comprising a color- determining paint layer having an intervenient pigment according to a desirable color of the goods. The pigment, to be blended with the paint layer, is formed into a plate nearly parallel to the surface of the goods and composed of a three dimensional cross-linked liquid crystal main chain type polymer(LCP) wherein the mesogen of the main chain group in the pigment is provided with at least a chiral nematic order. The liquid crystal polymer(LCP) comprising a mixture of one or more of esterified cellulose ethers is prepared from cellulose ethers having a molecular weight of 500 to 1,000,000 wherein 2 to 5 anhydrous glucose units are etherified by hydrocarbon chains and 1.5 to 3 cellulose ethers are esterified by unsaturated carboxylic acid residues.
