PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of stable focus adjustment, a focus adjusting method, and a focus adjusting mechanism with simple, low-cost, and space-saving constitution. SOLUTION: The focus adjusting mechanism is equipped with a lever 2 which moves a lens frame 4 along the optical axis in addition to a laminated piezoelectric element 1 which is so arranged that its displacement by voltage application becomes nearly parallel to the optical axis of a photograph optical system and the lens frame 4 which abuts against an end surface of the laminated piezoelectric element 1, expands the displacement of the piezoelectric element 1, and holds the expanded displacement at a lens 3. |
