MULTIPLEXER, MULTIPLEXING TRANSMISSION METHOD AND SYSTEM THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to watch a program even in the case of stop of sending of schedule data from a higher-order controller by not only generating data as the selection reference of programs by video data but also executing the processing of time division multiplexing only based on the start time of schedule data. SOLUTION: A CPU 42 updates contents of a PSI(program specification information) generation part 12 by PSI registered in a schedule queue 43 in accordance with schedule data sent from an MCS 40. A multiplexing part 13 is controlled by the CPU 42 and multiplexes and outputs data D5A to D5N and D8A to D8N of plural systems outputted from an encoder. A scrambler 44 performs scrambling processing of packets outputted from the multiplexing part 13. Even if it is difficult that the CPU 42 is controlled by the NCS 40, a personal computer 45 connected to the CPU 42 sends a control command to the CPU 42 independently of the MCS 40 to control the multiplexing part 41.
