PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material high in sensitivity and improved in roller marks and residual dye stains. SOLUTION: The photographic sensitive material provided on a support with hydrophilic colloidal layers including a silver halide emulsion layer, and the hydrophilic colloidal layer contains an oxazoline polymer and the silver halide emulsion layer contains flat silver halide grains satisfying the following conditions (1) and (2), or (3) and (4): (1) the flat grains have principal faces of (111) and a grain diameter of 0.5-3.0μm and a thickness of 0.07-0.7μm, and (2) having epitaxially attached silver halide protrusion having face-centered cubic lattice structures located on the circumferences of the host flat grains, or (3) having a silver iodide content of >=0.1 mol.% and a silver chloride content of >=50 mol.%, and (4) having principal faces of (100) and the ones of an aspect ratio of 2-50 occupying >=50% of the projection areas of the total silver halide grains.
