PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method for always maintaining stable development without causing the reduction of image density and fogging when toner is replenished. SOLUTION: In this image forming method, an electrostatic latent image is formed on a latent image carrier 110, and is developed with one-component developer containing toner particles in a developing device 111, then, a toner image is formed on the latent image carrier 110. The developing device 111 is provided with (1); a developer container equipped with a 1st storing chamber 112 and a 2nd storing chamber 113, also with a one-component developer 120 stored in the 1st and 2nd storing chambers 112 and 113, (2);a developer carrier 115 for carrying the one-component developer 120 and feeding the developer to a developing area facing the latent image carrier 110, (3); a 1st stirring/ carrying means 118 for stirring/carrying the one-component developer 120 along the longitudinal direction of the developer carrier 115, and (4); a 2nd stirring/ carrying means 119 for stirring/carrying the one-component developer 120 to the 1st storing chamber 112. |
