PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce buffer capacity required in slave stations and to reduce the delay amount of data as well by effectively allocating the band of a transmission line for the respective slave stations in a passive optical communication network equipment, where a main station and the plural slave stations are branched and connected through an optical demultiplexer/multiplexer and the slave stations perform transmission following a transmission permission from the main station. SOLUTION: A slave station 4 generates maintenance signal cells by a maintenance signal generation part 43 in the preceding stage of a buffer part 41, for temporarily storing incoming data and inserts them in a certain fixed cycle. A main station 1 measures the reception interval or reception position of the maintenance signal cell from the slave station 4 for the respective slave stations 4, and a transmission permission control part 13 controls the transmission permission to the respective slave stations 4 according to the measured results. |
