PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, economically and with high productivity, a fire-resistant electric wire excellent in a high-temperature insulation property and a breakdown voltage property, though a stranded conductor is used, in the same way as a single wire conductor, and having sufficient flexibility. SOLUTION: In this fire-resistant electric wire, a wire core made up by successively providing a linear conductor with a fire-resistant rubber layer 3a made of a cross-linked silicone rubber composition containing 3 to 25 pts.wt. of silicone oil and 0.1 to 25 pts.wt. of stearic acid relative to 100 pts.wt. of silicone rubber and filled with powder mica, and with a fire-resistant reinforcing layer 3b made of a reconstituted mica sheet, is coated with an insulating layer 4 made of a synthetic resin, and furthermore a sheath is provided thereon if the need arises. |
