PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a material excellent in the color reproducibility and the light-fastness of a color image by incorporating one kind of a cyan dye-forming coupler selected from specified compounds in at least one layer of cyan color developing photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers. SOLUTION: In this silver halide color photographic sensitive material, at least one layer of cyan color developing silver halide emulsion layers contains at least one kind of a cyan dye forming coupler represented by formula in which each of Z<a> and Z<b> is -C(R<3> )= or -N= and one of them is -N= and the other is -C(R<3> )=; each of R<1> and R<2> is an electron withdrawing group having a Hammett's substituent constantσp of >=0.20, and the sum of theσp of the both is >=0.65; R<3> is an H atom or a substituent; and X is an H atom or a group releasable by coupling reaction with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent.
