<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a communications device which reduces the number of resend requests that take place when a data error occurs and efficiently performs data communication. SOLUTION: A channel quality red means 16 reads the quality of a channel from a data signal that passes through the channel while an encoding selecting means 11 selects an encoding means that suits the channel. When a communication quality is satisfactory, a high bit rate encoding means 12 encodes and a high bit rate channel coding means 13 calculates an error correction code, and when the channel quality is not satisfactory, a low bit rate encoding means 14 encodes and a low bit rate coding means 15 calculates an error correction code. With this configuration, it is possible to appropriately change the encoding means and the channel coding means and to suppress a received signal from delaying and fluctuating in a time sequence manner even when a sent data signal is required to have real time properties of sound and a moving image.</p> |
