PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly unit, capable of crimping a terminal cap in an airtightly sealed condition to a case by opening an electric charging circuit over a wide range increase of a battery internal pressure, without any ventilation similarly to the case of ventilation at a predetermined high pressure level. SOLUTION: A stationary contact plate 16, shaped overall into a disc shape and provided with a vertically raised contact part 16a, is formed from an electrically conducive surface provided with a contact surface plated with gold/silver and fitted in a cylindrical part 12f of a recess part 12b. A bottom part of a heater 12 which serves as an inside surface of a terminal cap device exposed to an electrolyte inside a case is provided with a solid part 12h, extending between a diaphragm 12d and a flange 12a. A movable contact tab 20a is separated from a stationary contact part 16a so as, to shut off electric current flowing to a top part cap 24 via an electrode tab 8, the header 12, the stationary contact plate 16, and a spring 20, so that a safety or protection function is provided. |
