<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form an electron emission part on a substrate by selectively forming a pattern made of a conductive paste on the substrate, baking the paste pattern, and then grinding a surface of a conductive film to expose a columnar body. SOLUTION: A plate-shaped electrode 106b is connected with a frame 201. A paste pattern 202 is formed in a given region on a surface of a shape part. This paste pattern 202 is formed on the electrode 106b in a condition in which a columnar graphite 131 is covered with silver 203. The upper part of this paste pattern 202 is ground. As a result, the columnar graphite 131 is exposed on the upper part of this paste pattern 202. An electron emission part 121, which is in a state in which the tips of carbon nano-tubes comprising the columnar graphite 131 is exposed, is formed on the electrode 106b. The electrode 106b on which the electron emission part 121 is formed is cut out from the frame 201, and both ends of the electrode 106b are folded.</p> |
