摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion module, where a short circuit is prevented from occurring between adjacent semiconductor elements or between element groups and which can be easily manufactured at low cost, semiconductor units which serve as unit component elements of the module, and a manufacturing method of them. SOLUTION: Semiconductor element unit, each equipped with an N-type semiconductor element 12 and a P-type semiconductor element 13 each covered with insulating tubular members 21, except for their edge faces seen in the direction of electric conduction are arranged alternately, the adjacent tubular members 21 are fixed together with adhesive agent, and semiconductor elements each composed of adjacent semiconductor units which are provided with an N-type semiconductor element 12 and a P-type semiconductor element 13 respectively are cascade-connected by electrodes 23. A metal layer 22 is provided between the N-type semiconductor element 12, the P-type semiconductor element 13 and the electrodes 23. Whereby a semiconductor element and an electrode can be satisfactorily electrically and mechanically connected together, and the semiconductor element can be prevented from deteriorating in characteristics.
