PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unbalance correcting method for a tire-wheel combination body capable of reducing a balance weight used in static unbalance correction. SOLUTION: A static unbalance (c) of a wheel measured by a balancer is composed of a component (b) by un-uniformity of a member in a wheel 10 and a component (a) by eccentricity. Accordingly, the static unbalance (a) caused by eccentricity is increased by installation of a tire. Therefore, the increased static unbalance is calculated, and the calculated static unbalance and the static unbalance caused by un-uniformity of the member are synthesized to calculate the static unbalance caused by the wheel 10. A tire is installed on the wheel in such a manner that the static unbalance caused by the wheel 10 and un- uniform static unbalance caused by the member of the tire 12 are of opposite phase, whereby the static unbalance is minimized and the number of balance weight (lead) used can be reduced. |
