PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a sound field at high precision by reproducing at the same time sound recorded by means of directional microphones, which are arranged in opposite directions through the use of plural loudspeaker arranged in the opposite, directions. SOLUTION: Four directional microphones M1, M2, M3 and M4 are arranged facing different directions which successively differ by 90 deg. in a horizontal direction and sound are simultaneously and independently recorded so that the two-dimensional sound field is recorded. At reproducing, sound recorded by the microphones M1-M4 is reproduced by independent loudspeakers. The reproduction of sound by the four speakers is simultaneously executed, in accordance with the simultaneous recording of sound by the four microphones M1-M4. When six microphones and six speakers are used, three-dimensional sound is recorded and reproduced. |
