PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic component mounting equipment which has a small-sized mounting head provided with a large number of work holding members. SOLUTION: In a mounting head 16 which is movable in the horizontal direction between the upper part of a component supplying part and the upper part of a mounting substrate, a vertically moving plate 29 is made vertically movable with a screw shaft 28, which is driven with an electric motor. A plurality of pneumatic cylinders 35 are installed on the vertically moving plate 29, and hollow shafts 23 in which work holding members 24 are installed on the lower ends are made vertically movable by the pneumatic cylinders 35. Thus each of the work holding members 24 is moved up and down by the combined driving force of the electric motor and the pneumatic cylinders 35. |
