PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment capable of easily dealing with the state of wrOng operation or the like by providing a display control section for executing prescribed display depending on a light receiving state at an infrared ray signal receiving section so as to discriminate the receiving state of a remote control signal. SOLUTION: A collector of a photo transistor(TR) 15 as a light receiving section that receives an infrared ray signal is connected to a power terminal 16 from which a prescribed power supply voltage is obtained, and an emitter of the photo TR 15 connects to a ground level section via a resistor R11. In this case, the photo TR 15 is a switching element that is conductive when an infrared ray signal with a prescribed band is made incident. Then a signal obtained at a connection midpoint between the photo TR 15 and the resistor R11 is fed to an amplifier 17, where the signal is amplified and its amplified output is fed to a demodulation circuit 18. The circuit 18 conducts processing of demodulating a code of the received infrared ray signal and gives demodulated data to a central processing unit 11. |
