PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce a photograph processing control tool without consuming time and labor. SOLUTION: By reading a film on which a picture is recorded at a step S11 by using a scanner, digital image data S is obtained (S12). By photographing a color chart on a film whose type is identical to that at the step S11 and different from it (S21 and S22) and similarly reading it by using the scanner, chart image data C1 and C2 are obtained (S23 and S24). Then, corresponding relation between the digital values of the data C1 and C2 is obtained as the matrix of 3×10 (S27). By using the matrix, the data S is converted so as to obtain the converted image data S' (S31). By reproducing the data S' by a reproducing means (S32), the final photograph processing control tool is obtained.
