The chamber has lateral walls (10, 11), a floor (12) and a ceiling covered with conducting units spaced between the units. Each conducting unit (A-G) is connected to a wall or another conducting unit by a connecting/disconnecting unit for establishing or breaking an electrical connection between the conductor unit and the wall and/or the other conducting unit. The conducting units are units having the shape of a plate with a rectangular edge. An independent claim is also included for a method for electromagnetic stirring in a mode-stirring reverberation chamber.
