The method involves feeding rail track currents to partial rail track sections using a transmitter to control trains. The currents are received per rail track section using a receiver which is located at a receiving station arranged at an outer edge of each rail track section. When the rail track section is occupied by a train,the transmitter is electrically connected to the receiver which is located in direction of motion in front of the train. The receiver is connected to the origin transmission place of the transmitter to continuously influence the train on the overall track section. The transmitter is switched back to the origin transmission place and the receiver to the origin receiving place when the train leaves the track section with the first axis.
