Electronic control unit has a terminal section for connecting a connector piece and a substrate by wire bonding. The electronic control unit has a circuit substrate (1) in a housing (2). A connector piece (3) is provided on the housing (2). The unit also has a large number of connector plates (4) each fed into the housing (2) from a respective pin section of the connector piece (3) to be connected to the substrate (1). The housing has a connector surface section (5) for holding the connector section of a connector plate (4) inserted there. A recessed surface of a respective connector section is connected by a wire bonding with each terminal on the substrate. The connector sections at both ends of the recessed surface are curved to be embedded in the housing (2).
