A double-glazing unit comprising a plurality of pieces of flat glass (1, 2) adjacently provided in their thickness direction via spacers (3) respectively and sealed at the peripheries of the flat glass (1, 2) along the entire peripheries thereof, wherein at least one of the plurality of pieces of flat glass (1, 2) uses toughness glass and the peripheries of the pieces of flat glass are sealed to each other with a sealing material having a sealing temperature of less than 400 ~C.
