An opening (26) below the card (14) shaft (28) end stop (32) extends the shaft in a contour matching that of the card, but offset slightly from the shaft, so the edge of the opening acts as end stop. The opening reaches into the shaft section and plunger (44) level with the surface supporting the bottom card, and it moves parallel to the card plane with the result that the card is tilted over across the shaft section and so fits into the outline of the extension opening. The bottom end of the shaft (24) and the opening are enclosed in frame structure (20,22), whose two parts are joined together to hold respective end stop surfaces a few degrees apart round the shaft axis. The frame is recessed (47,48) opposite the end stop surface to one card height, so the vertical side of this recess (58) is in line with the edges of the opening below. Plungers are arranged on longitudinal sides of the shaft close to the bottom end for the card tilting operation.
