Process for the removal of cerium initiator salts from graft polymers for biotechnology and pharmaceutical applications

An improved method for removing initiators from grafting products, in which grafting was initiated by Cer-(IV) salts, is disclosed. According to said method the grafting procuct is washed with a mineral acid solution of ascorbic acid.
