The chip has a data processing circuit. It also has at least one transmitter/receiver coil (1) in connection with the data processing circuit. The coil is formed of at least two turns of a coil conductor. At least one bend section (15) is provided in the turns of the coil so each turn has a bend or a kink in the bend section. The bend or kink divides the coil conductor into a two conductive regions. In at least one bend section, at least one conductive region of a first turn runs in a plane above at least a second conductive region of a second turn. The first and/or the second conductive regions of several turns are arranged in a common plane.
