<p>This invention is an endovascular graft system used to repair aneurysms (A) in arteries which bifurcate such as the aorta which bifurcates at the aorta iliac junction. The graft system includes two legs (20, 30) each defining a lumen. Each leg comprises an aortic stent (5), a graft component (40, 41), and an iliac stent (22, 32). The graft component (40, 41) is affixed at one end to the aortic stent (5), and at the other end to the iliac stent (22, 32). Each leg (20, 30) of the graft system is preferably a mirror image of the other with the exception of the aortic stent (5). The graft component (40, 41) of each leg includes a means (25, 35) for allowing in situ adjustment of the length of the leg to accommodate the different sizes required for different patients.</p> |
