A chocolate (54) manufacturing machine discharges a treacle-like edible mass (8.1, 8.2) through a funnel (7.1, 7.2), which in turn discharges the mass through the gap (9) between two rollers (10, 11) onto a moving conveyer belt (6). The funnel (7.1, 7.2) and rollers (10, 11) are attached to a moving fixture (2) supported by a frame (1). The fixture is capable of movement through the x, y axes and preferably also the z-axis. The funnel, rollers and supporting fixture (2) may all be easily disassembled from the fixed frame.
