The system includes a correction spring (11) which has a negative stiffness at a zero crossing on its linear characteristic graph. The spring tunes the resonant frequency of the dynamic system to a limited frequency range. The correction spring may be connected in parallel with the structure, and an actuator connected in parallel with a transfer element (4). A method of increasing the frequency range of a dynamic system is also claimed.
