PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide battery cooling structure for a motor-driven two-wheeler capable of preventing intrusion of rain water and muddy water while securing cooling ability, and capable of enhancing charging efficiency to shorten a charge time. SOLUTION: In battery cooling structure for a motor-driven two-wheeler in which a low-floored foot board 23 (foot rest part) is provided between a steering handle 9 and a seat 16, in which a battery storing chamber 35 is formed in the underside of the foot board 23, and in which a battery 15 is mounted inside the battery storing chamber 35, a front wheel fender is formed into a movable fender 36 to be turned around a steering shaft together with a front wheel 10, and a traveling wind opening 37 for introducing a traveling wind into the battery storing chamber 35 is formed in an upperside part of a tangential line A of the front wheel 10 passing the rear lower end edge 36a of the movable fender 36 in the battery storing chamber 35. When the battery 15 is charged, a forcibly cooling fan 40 is arranged in an exhaust port of the chamber 35 to cool the battery 15 by the cooling fan 40 until it reaches to an upper limit temperature for starting charge. |
