摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic member having columnar ceramic heat-insulating coating for reducing the heat conductivity and an applying method of this coating. SOLUTION: The metallic member 30 is provided with a bond coat 34 on the metallic member 30 and the ceramic heat-insulating coating 38 on the bond coat 34. The ceramic heat-insulating coating 38 is provided with plural columnar grains 40 perpendicularly extended to the surface of the metallic member 30. Each columnar grain 40 is provided with plural layers 42, 44. Some of the layers 44 is provided with plural sub-grains 48 extended in an acute angle to the surface of the metallic member 30 to form each void 50 between the adjacent sub-grains 48. The voids 50 are disposed in the acute angle to the surface of the metallic member 30 and hence, the heat conductivity of the ceramic heat- insulating coating 38 is reduced. Some of the layers 42 is provided with sub-grain 46 perpendicularly extended to the surface of the metallic member 30 to give an erosion resistance.
