<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase strength for a bottle body and to prevent at the same time deformation by collapse of the bottle body in reinforcement ribs and reinforcement panels and the like. SOLUTION: Four transverse ribs 13, 14, 15 and 16 and a first reinforcement panel 21 made of an oval recessed part and connecting to the transverse ribs are formed at the upper part 10 of a trunk part 4. The depth of the first reinforcement panel 21 is shallower than the depth of recessed grooves of the two transverse ribs 13 and 16 positioned at the upper and the lower ends and deeper than the depth of the recessed grooves of the transverse ribs 14 and 15 positioned in between, and therefore the transverse ribs 13 and 16 are formed in continuity while other transverse ribs 14 and 15 are formed in discontinuity. A second reinforcement panel 23 is formed at the lower part 11 of the trunk part 4, and the second reinforcement panel 23 is made up of upper projecting/ indented stripes 25, lower projecting/indented stripes 26 and a recessed part 27 extending in the circumferential direction between the upper and the lower projecting/indented stripes 25 and 26. Because of these transverse ribs and the reinforcement panels, deformation by collapse at the trunk part 4 can be prevented.</p> |
