PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high sensitivity of a position sensor for detecting the safety control release territory of a window, in a power window device performing safety control by detecting a caught-in state based on the opening/closing position of the window and the driving condition of a motor. SOLUTION: A pair of contacts 31, 32 are arranged on the side of a main gear 24 rotated by the output shaft 14 of a motor 9 operating to open/close a window. On an auxiliary gear 25 meshing with the main gear 24 through an interlocking gear 27 and rotating at different speed from the main gear 24, a conductive film 30 is arranged so as to be opposite to the contacts 31, 32. When the output shaft 14 of the motor reaches a fixed rotational quantity by relative rotational operation of the main gear 24 and the auxiliary gear 25, namely when the window is moved up to the fixed opening/closing position, the contacts 31, 32 are contacted with the conductive film 30 to output an electric signal. An safety control release territory can be detected at accuracy of 1:1 to the moved quantity of the window, and it is unnecessary to arrange a position sensor in the vicinity of the window. |
