SYNTHETIC RESIN REINFORCEMENT PANEL, AND SYNTHETIC RESIN BOTTLE BODY USING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase strength of a bottle body and to prevent at the same time deformation by collapse of the bottle body including reinforcement ribs and reinforcement panels. SOLUTION: A transverse rib 12 is formed, extending entirely over the circumference of a synthetic resin bottle body 1, between the upper part 10 and the lower part 11 of a trunk part 4 of the bottle body. A collapse-preventing rib 33 is formed at the bottom part 12c of a recessed part of the transverse rib 12 so that the width thereof becomes wider at the center of the front of the synthetic resin bottle body 1 than the fixed widthπof other parts. The collapse- preventing rib 33 is formed in a rhombic shape symmetrical on the right and the left at its center and the width thereof is set so that it becomes gradually wider as it approaches its center, starting from both ends on the right and the left of the collapse-preventing rib 33, and finally becomes the maximum widthρat its center. Because of presence of the collapse-preventing rib 33, the trunk part 4 becomes flexible and deformation by collapse at the center of the trunk part 4 is prevented.
