PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a space in a vehicle required for work safely in the shortest period while the vehicle is idling or the key is off, by moving the steering wheel and driver's seat to appropriate positions by minimum distances according to the driver's work intention and physical constitution. SOLUTION: An adjusting device for vehicular steering wheel and driver's seat positions includes a work switch 12 with which a driver 8 selects one from work contents during a vehicle stop, or while the vehicle is idled or the key is set off, and a control means 11 that operationally interlocks with the work switch 12 to set a steering wheel 1 and a driver's seat 2 at their prescribed positions and angles such that the space as well as the posture of the driver 8 that both aim for the work content selected with the work switch 12 are ensured. |
