PURPOSE:To provide the device removing impurities in a flowing water pipe to ensure the quality of water and capable of performing maintenance work in an extremely simple manner. CONSTITUTION:When an opening and closing valve 14 is opened and a partition plate 19 is rotated through a rotary shaft 16, the water on the downstream side of a filter mesh 3 flows in a backwashing chamber 17 to backwash the entire peripheral surface of the filter mesh 3. At the same time, the impurities setted on the discharge part formed to the lower part of the filter mesh 3 are collected by a rotary blade 27 and appropriately discharged to the outside through the opening and closing valve 14 when the communication pipe 24 connected to the backwashing chamber and the discharge part communicate with each other for a definite period. |
