The invention relates to the apparatus for heating liquid or gas, preferably fluid mediums, and can be used for heating rooms, heating liquids and gasses as well as for heating water in household. An induction electric heater for liquid or gaseous mediums known from prior art includes a heating chamber formed as a hollow tube (1) which is a part of the pipeline conducting the medium and whereon an inductor (3) connected to an alternating current power source is set. In accordance with present invention, a core made of a ferromagnetic material and formed as a tube (4) is set in the fluid medium coaxially within the pipeline. A second core tube (6) made of a ferromagnetic material may be set coaxially within the first core tube (4), or two or more core tubes made of a ferromagnetic material may be set also in the fluid medium coaxially with one another. Fig.2 shows one embodiment of the present invention - an induction electric heater with a core formed as two coaxial tubes.
