FIELD: metallurgy, namely apparatuses for refining melts, possibly extracting from liquid slag or melt non-reacted or newly formed solid particles, for example extracting diamond crystals from alkali melt of kimberlite concentrate. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes two vertically mounted hollow cones with intakes and rotation drive unit. Cones are mutually joined by their bases with formation of filtering slit. Apparatus also includes inverse sleeve with tangential holes. Said sleeve is secured inside cones on base of low cone having opening near its apex. Filtering slit is in the form of calibrated openings formed by protrusion of base of upper cone. Intakes of upper cone and opening near apex of lower cone are provided with cover flaps. EFFECT: possibility of extracting from melt non-metallic solid particles uniformly dispersed in the whole volume of melt bath and having density comparable with melt density. 1 dwg |
