<p>A digital broadcasting receiver comprises a tuner section for receiving digital broadcasting information, an information storage section for storing the digital broadcasting information together with copyright information, and a decoder section for decoding the digital broadcasting information to the output in a displayable form. In reading and reproducing the digital broadcasting information from the information storage section by using a reproduction pointer, when a copying unabling signal is detected, the digital broadcasting information is erased simultaneously by using a simultaneous erasure pointer. Meanwhile, in receiving the digital broadcasting information and storing it in the information storage section, when a copying unabling signal is detected, the received digital broadcasting information is inhibited from being outputted as an output displayable through the decoder section. Thus, while satisfying the copying nonpermission conditions and protecting the copyright of digital broadcasting information, the viewing time can be shifted to a later time.</p> |
