Data transmission method for radio communication system

The method involves providing a radio interface for a signal connection between a base station (BS) and at least one mobile station (MS). A first carrier frequency (fup1..n) is used for data transmission in upward direction and a second carrier frequency (fdw1..n) is used for data transmission in downward direction. Both frequencies have a predetermined ratio. The first carrier frequency is used for a connection before the second carrier frequency is used. Preferably, both carrier frequencies are changed cyclically or pseudo randomly. The first carrier frequency is changed before the second carrier frequency is changed.
