<p>A manual screeding system (20) for use in leveling freshly poured concrete (31) which includes a frame means (21, 35) for providing structural integrity to said screed. The screeding system includes handles (42), attached to the frame means (21, 35), for manually holding and manipulating said screeding system (20) during the screeding process. A support means (32), attached to the frame (21, 35), is provided for preventing the screeding system (20) from rotating about the handles (42) during the screeding process. The support means (32) is structured to engage the forearms (33) of the user when the screeding system (20) is in use. A pair of bracket assemblies (38) are provided for securely holding a screed board (30) to the frame means (21, 35).</p> |
